CFP: OPOSSEM content writing sprint in Austin, TX, July 7-9
OPOSSEM will be holding a writing sprint in Austin, TX, July 7-9. The purpose of the writing sprint is to create content and an initial draft of open-source, wiki-based textbook pages in social science methodology for the OPOSSEM site. Participants can contribute content in the area or topic of their choice, though it is expected that many people will choose to focus on issues in undergraduate research methods.
For those interested in joining us in Austin, please email Michelle Dion at email@example.com. All expenses will be covered, including an honorarium for your time.
If you'd like to participate in the sprint without coming to Austin, that is also possible. Thursday morning there will be a session to provide an overview of the sprint objectives and some technical background for using the wiki interface, which you would join virtually. Then, you could join the sprint, write, and contribute from the comfort of your home or office. If you're interested in joining the sprint virtually, please email Michelle Dion at firstname.lastname@example.org to get additional information.
