Adjunct Faculty Positions at Johns Hopkins
The new Johns Hopkins Master of Science in Government Analytics program seeks instructors for quantitative courses. These courses should focus on the use of data and analytics in areas related to politics, policy and governance. We are interested in instructors who can teach courses related to time series analysis, data visualization, text analysis, social network analysis, data-driven campaigning and political behavior. The majority of students will not have a background in this area but will have taken one or two introductory statistics courses. The program is located in Washington, DC (near Dupont Circle). Instructors have the option to teach at our Washington, DC campus or to develop an online version of the course. Instructors are paid for their online development in addition to their payment for teaching the course. We are particularly interested in instructors who would like to develop online courses. Online instructors do not need to live in Washington, DC area. If interested please send a current CV and a description of your teaching interests to Dr. Jennifer Bachner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
