This discussion guide highlights quantitative elements in two articles on American media.  The discussion guide is organised by level of quantitative understanding, and includes some classroom activities.   It is based on two articles: John Geer. 2012. “The News Media and the Rise of Negativity in Presidential Campaigns” PS 45: 422-427James N.
